Worried about the looming disaster that may affect some European banks? Worried about European countries going bust? Worried about a double dip recession? Worried about a nervous stock market? Worried about the value of sterling falling? Worried about what effect your investments are having on the environment?

Many forests around the world have been illegally destroyed by regimes eager to cash in on the high prices that premium teak fetches on the open market. It is estimated by National Geographic magazine that the last remaining rainforests could be destroyed within 40 years. The world consumption of hardwood has grown by nearly 2500% in the last four decades.

We work with private and institutional investors, building portfolios of commercially sustainable teak plantations that benefit the planet not only in terms of CO2 reduction but also by supplying properly sourced timber which reduces the pressure on the world’s natural rainforests. Additionally, of course, it provides the potential to earn excellent returns for investors over the medium to long term.

Returns on teak investment have averaged around 10% per annum over the last 30 years with no speculation as all trees sold are over 3 years old and we know the approximate yield of timber that each tree will produce. Plantations can be fully or self managed. Additionally you will be employing local people on long term contracts and taking nasty CO2 out of the atmosphere so you can help the environment as well as your wallet.

An initial investment of £30,000 can return £186,240 within 15 years.
